Meet Chloé Marie:
Chloé Marie is a New Orleans–based singer-songwriter whose work spans the full spectrum of the human experience — from shadow to sunlight — carried by a rich, resonant voice and unmistakable folk-rock sensibility. Born in Baton Rouge, she grew up singing in choirs and performing in musical theatre before stepping into music professionally just a few years ago with her band Alabaster Stag. The group quickly gained regional traction, sharing stages with Big Freedia, Tank and the Bangas, Flow Tribe, GIVERS, and more.Now performing solo as Chloé Marie (born Chloé Johnson), she moved to the Crescent City to deepen her craft and shape her own artistic voice. She has since released a series of recordings, including her 2023 project I Guess It’s Just Me Now, showcasing her introspective songwriting and emotional depth.Beyond music, Chloé is also an accomplished puppeteer. She stars as Cynthia on Ziggy’s Arts Adventure, the Louisiana Public Broadcasting/PBS Network children’s series — a vibrant, Henson-inspired show now in its third season.
